Inspiring Impactful Change

The Indiana Birth Coalition was founded in 2022 by a group of mothers, birth workers, and advocates. The desire for autonomous, empowering out-of-hospital birth experiences is on the rise in Indiana, but families do not have enough options. Our members have been working with couples of childbearing age for decades combined and continue to see concerning perinatal practices. We are dedicated to preventing trauma, providing education and support, and improving perinatal outcomes by increasing access to midwifery care and out-of-hospital birth.
